charlie and the chocolate factory

ive decided to review this movie because everyone is craving about it. in my opinoin personally, i didnt find it that great. first of all, they cut out so many nice parts of the movie like the ending aprt, where the whole family actually enters the elevator and goes up into the air. and secondly, they changed the plot of a perfectly great story, by making wonka's dad a dentist. great move tim burton. i think they revolved the movie around 'johnny depp' too much. it is called CHARLIE and the chocolate factory and somehow, they kinda made it more about wonka himself. and wonka...dude. hes one ugly fucker. his smile is sooo pissing off, yes it does make him look like micheal jackson. haha.

excuse me ladies, but how do find this man attractive, honestly. haha

the special effects and all in this movie were pretty impressive though. the fact that all the oompa loompas were the same person was soo kick ass. way to go DEEP ROY (man who played all other characters in the factory, including oompa loompas). he had to use motion capture for all his characters but he didnt have any lines which was a major bummer. i dont really know if he is a midget in real life. it woudnt be a surprise though.

also, the scene with the squirrels is exactly how i pictured it while reading the book so the photography was pretty good as well. i was watching mtv screen just now, (cause there is nothing to watch at 1am) and they said that they had to train all those squirrels to, take the girl down. not too bad.

anyways, back to the 'revolving the movie around johnny depp'. they didnt give the kids any lines man. i swear. it was all johnny, in his horrible, pedofile voice. its scary. however, if u are a lady, and like johnny depp *cough*miriam*cough* then that dosnt really matter now does it. o well. :D haha.

overall, i think that they kinda ruined the book with this movie. they changed the whole ending. i know the book has a sequel and thats why they ended it a different way...and in that case, the ending was crap. im not gonna ruin it for u miriam, so i wont really describe the ending. u go watch it in england for 12 pounds...or issit even out there yet? =)
